They are real wood veneer laminated to plastic to avoid cracking and chipping, they come with shielding tape applied, unfinished and are truly beautiful.

Each piece is individually unique and is not necessarily like the grain as is shown. There are some little voids on some of the Burl guards but this is inherent of a burl wood and only adds to they're beauty.
