The B. Hefner Strat & Tele necks have saved my hands. I have tendinitis
and digging into soft brass nickel frets is like driving you car with worn out barrings
and the heavy wide fender neck are way to cumbersome. -Like driving a Mac Truck
in a Formula 1 race. Playing the flawless stainless steel frets is effortless and very

As always you have done an outstanding job of another neck--
I can't wait till my friend gets home from work to let him know that it arrived!!
I know he will be impressed and I'm sure you have made another friend--
You did me proud with this neck and I know he is having Warmoth make him
a custom hollow carved tele rear route for hum buckers which he has had on order
for about a week now and he will need another neck---I think when he sees this neck
and I set him up he'll be ready to order another from you--- Any ideas for a Padouk over
African Mahogany that he plans to just gun oil with Tru-oil with possible red dye on the Mahogany
No binding just a black pinstripe at the laminate line
Any suggestions for wood type would be appreciated!!

This is a truly top quality product - very very pleased. Mine was a two piece body - I mentioned in my order that I was going to sunburst it and could the grain be nice and B. Hefner delivered. The dimensions are exact - my WD neck fitted absolutely perfectly - as did all my Fender parts. Compared to a genuine '63 strat body - the contours and routes are exactly right. I put mine together into a 3-colour burst 1961 replica - it looks fabulous and sounds the 2nd best Strat I've ever heard (the best is the genuine '63 I mentioned!)

If I could give you 10/5 Bernie, I would. Fantastic!

I bought three of these Tele bodies last year and they are absolutely stunning. The precise detail put into them is unparalleled in this industry.

I bought an ash jazz body with '70s pickup spacing, and the quality is great. The seam is almost impossible to see and the body is pretty light. Bernie is a great guy to deal with and the price is so low it's almost unbelievable. I see bodies going for over $100 more on fleabay, and they can't be this nice.
Go ahead and get your project going with one of these very nice bodies at a very nice price. Bernie will take care of you.

Hi Bernie, just saw your video where you talk about your company and the different products. Very cool!
Just wanted to send a note of thanks for the last body I received. I have many guitars, all american, all of great quality, but somehow I was always searching for something more personal rather than mass produced and averaged. I was able, using your website to actually learn something about the history of Fender designs and order a custom built product that meets "my" needs. I ordered a 50's swamp ash, 2 pc, hardtail strat body with tele pickup routes, tele neck pocket, rear electronics route, and no vol/tone or switch routes. It arrived on time and packed well and as I opened it I was thrilled with how beautifully grained and white it was. And the weight was just as light as a feather. All this for such little money was way more than expected. Then looking over the body it appeared that 99% of it was 1 pc with just a very small joint near the output jack area. It's just a great body Bernie and I can't thank you enough for making it.

I was derelict in getting back right away, but I just want to thank you so much for the vintage tele neck you sent me . The Swamp ash body you sent was beyond perfect, as to fulfilling my desire WRT wood grain etc.. it's just beautiful !
The neck you made for me is amazing!
I asked for straight grain, and you picked me a piece of maple which is perfect.
As a wood worker, I feel in love at first sight. The grain is perfect straight trough the center of the neck.. it's crazy; it looks perfectly "book-matched " with respect to the center stripe . it is also ruler flat and the frets ( nicely seated ) and dimensions are as specified ...perfect The work is also flawless with the exception of the fret ends sticking out beyond the fretboard edge. Not a real problem for me, as I have done many fret jobs and have the skills and tools to bring them in and bevel ( I would have expected to bevel them to my taste in any event) I'm not sure how anyone with no skills would deal with that but .....
Anyway, you have made me very happy , I have a tele I am so proud to play, and make no mistake I am also proud to say were I got the parts and the quality and special attention i received!!
